I dunno how anyone can hear that dude sing and say “This guy sucks”, I can understand not digging his musical output, but that dude is a fucking outstanding vocalist.

Fuck yeah he is. I first heard Dino on Michael Romeo's last album, and he kills it. I think he's phenomenal, personally. But, for me, I'd like to see him in a more aggressive/progressive metal band. Not the campy, cock-rocky shit.
