Biggest change for me vs the original 5153 is the .0047uf bright cap on the 100s blue channel gain pot. Really gives that channel some cut.
Rolling the gain around in the 3 - 7 zone is kinda like a tone control. Very cool.
To me, this gives the 100s blue a bit of a hot-rodded Marshall vibe I didn't hear on the original version.
