EVH 1X12 cabinets...how are they?

I’m thinking of grabbing an EVH 1x12 cabinet. Sounds like they come stock with a Celestion G12H 30th Anniversary speaker. I was just wondering what your opinion on these are?

I have one.
It came with the g12h30.
I won a evm12l at a George Lynch clinic and put it in the cab so I could use it with a 100 watt head if need be with no worries.
It is extremly well built imho.
I would not hesitate to buy another if I needed it.
I actually bought mine from Brad when he still was on here.
So I have had it for a few years.

I’ve haven’t tried the EVH cabs, but when it comes to 1x12’s it’s hard to beat a Mesa Boogie Thiele cab.

Are you talking about the square or slanted ones?

I had a slanted Mini Rec cab that came with my Mark V:25 and when I added the 1x12 Thiele cab (with EVM 12L), I quickly sold the slanted 1x12 Mini Rec cab. Quite nasal, with little depth.

Both. I found you meed to vet the volume up to prevent the boxy nasal sound you describe.
