EVH III 50 noise

Hi,

I have a problem with EVH head making "alien" noises, its the most evident on CH3. I tried some tube swapping, but not much difference, CH2 was better, but 3 stays the same. Cables seem normal.

The link says its not secure on my work comp so I can't listen to it.
I once had a grid resistor come lose on one end and it made the amp squeal when I turned it up

Is this just guitar -> amp -> cab or do you have pedals in front or in the loop? It sounds like interference to me

Try a different cable, both speaker and guitar.

I think V2 socket is the problem. Every tube I put there and tap, has microphonic thump. Same tube in other position has no such issue.
I sprayed some contact cleaner in socket, but no difference.

Cables etc are ok.
