Last few times I've retubed my Superbass I've gone with SED Wing C's. I want to try something different with my Mojave Peacemaker and thought of the Mullards. Any of you guys dig them?

Also, whats up with the grading? "Early Distortion" or "soft" sounds tempting for slightly more gain but I'm afraid it might be too "squishy."

I have them in my Baron
I had SED I think the SED sounded a bit
Better

i know they're very bright, with the mids being higher focused than SED's.

don't remember as much how the lowend was, but think they're short on lowend.

i liked them in a Cornford, not as good as SED's, but did leave them in there quite awhile.

if it's a 50 watter, might be worth a gamble, or if the amp has a depth mod? 100 watter, i'd rather see you try something else.

EH 6CA7's are cool and deferent, and will get along with lots of amps. one of the smaller bottle Chinese 34's is pretty damned good.

I liked the Groove Tube ones but I heard of reliability issues, I did not experience that. Have not used the new sensor ones.
