Hello everyone!
I am participating in a Charity Event called "Extra Life", a 24-Hour gaming marathon to raise money for cancer research. I would like to ask my fellow Rig-Talkers to sponsor me in this event, if they can spare the money. 100% of the funds are going to the Texas Children's Hospital to help fund Cancer Research and treat current patients who are suffering from Cancer/Cancer-related problems.
My aunt has just been diagnosed with cancer for the 2nd time. She also suffers from a Mental Disability, which makes the situation very tough. My family has taken the responsibility of transporting her and her mother (my grandmother, of coarse) to the hospital in Springfield, IL, and make most of the decisions regarding her medical treatment. With this going on as well as many other personal problems and stressful situations, things are at a all-time low right now. I see this fund raiser as an opportunity for me to help not only my Aunt and other family members, but people all across the country.
If you could, please click on the link below which will point you to my fund raising page, and sponsor me in my quest to play 24 hours of video games. For just a dollar an hour, you could help save a life.
