Facebook marketplace deal/steal today

I was scoping out the local Facebook marketplace musical instruments ads today and I came across this gently used EVH 5150 50W EL34 head.

The guy only lived 20 minutes from me, so I went to check it out.

He was asking $850. I offered him $650 and he took it!

So I got it home and hooked it up to my Dr Z 2x12 cab.

Holy shitballs!!!

This amp sounds incredible!! 3 very independent and very useable channels.

I was very impressed!!!

FB Marketplace is weird. I had a rifle spotting scope on there for months. No bites. In the last three days I've gotten about eight inquiries. Got an offer for 25% less today, figured I'd take it. Got into some gun chat and ended up selling a shotgun to the kid's dad while we met at a gas station. I can't believe how easy that was.

This is ironic . I have been looking at this exact model amp just to try out . Believe me I have enough amps it just kind of piqued my interest.
