Last 2 guitars we put out were Joe Holmes inspired:

Cool! Mine below. I don't know anything about Holmes when I did mine though.

Oh... and finally listened to the whole thing on my way to San Diego today and REALLY dig what Joe did on this!

Steve
That guitar is just epic!

I've been following the teasers & videos Joe had been putting out the last year, got my CD this week, I love that album!
Such killer vibes, tone, playing, Robbie has great pipes.. like I said a few times I haven't been excited about a new release for a long time, hope they make a tour soon and many more albums in the future!

I read an interview that Joe did yesterday. He said they are all for touring and are trying to fill out the band. Also said when the band is filled out they want to work on a second record. I'm definetly a fan of what these guys do. Also in the interview, it sounds like some of the songs have been around for years. Rock on!!!! JoeV

Any chance you can point me towards the interview?

Thanks

As long as a second album doesn't mean a couple decades to release I'm all for it otherwise they need to "fill out the band" and get on stage. I don't know what Joe does for a living but selling CD's online isn't going to be much of a supplement without touring.

I did buy the Farmikos CD and am enjoying it more with each listen. There's a lot of transparency when it comes to the influences but I'm really enjoying it nonetheless and Joe's lead playing is smoking.

Thanks man. Good read and he seems like a good dude which makes me like this project even more. You know I listening in my car today thinking "this is definitely an old modded marshall sound" and sure enough, he's using Jose modded heads.

Second album...tour...it all sounds good to me. Glad they're looking to keep this going cause it deserves it.

Bxl, I thought the same thing. I loved the album from first listen but he seems like a nice down to earth guy. Definetly looking forward to what comes next whether it's tour or new cd. Until then I'm gonna keep jamming the first one lol

I'd been checking out the teasers on YT and such but just got the album a couple of weeks ago. Holy F'n Fuck  It kicked my ass so hard it's permanently dented

This album has been in constant rotation since I got it. As much as I love 80s rock, the early 90s had a much larger impact on my personal playing style... so this album is so up my alley. Killer tones that made me dig my strat back out.

Best album Ive heard for a long long time, bought all the EP's over the last year and still not sick of the music - love Joe's playing and tone

Funny how many people have guitars inspired by Joe's in some way or another. I put together this Charvel mutt back in 2008 and just changed it up again with a custom guard and new pickups.

Where did you get the guard? I've been looking for one like that!

For this one I just modified a guard that had no controls routed in it and drilled it and cut the switch slot where I wanted it by hand. Wanted the 50s 1 ply look to go with the two tone burst body but needed the custom control layout to get the knob and switch where I like them.
