Was kind of against Fortin but then I was for real ready to buy the EP because the videos were nuts but between the Larry thread itself, them trying to ignore my questions about the EP delays and now this, pffft. Im glad the EP didn't come out because im over it and dont even want it. No amp sounds that good to me, not worth the hassle.

Imagine spending $3k, having a qc issue, paying $100 to ship the amp back and then Fortin charging you $750 for their "inconvenience"?. Fuck all that.

That about sums it up. Crazy employees... stolen IP this, that, the other... crazy payment demands and service policies... now we’ve got humming amps that are normal... with 25% restocking fee... f all that.

But we all have the memories.

So the standby switch doesn't work on a cheap UK made amp? Who's surprised? Any electronic/wiring done in UK sucks balls. Their cars are notorious for their shitty electrical too.

Either way if the amp sounds good what's the big deal. Standby switches are pointless. It's been debunked. Especially for such a low watt amp.

I'm guessing most people don't know standbys are pointless. $1,400 isnt too cheap to a lot of people.

Fortin should have just not included a standby if it doesn't work.
