Cabs..........my favorite subject

The get together just compounded what I already knew and that is there is no ONE perfect cab to cover everything

Bunch of noobs, look at the position of the Dino in relation to the room's lighting! It really needed to be turned 2 degrees counterclock wise for it to sound better so the soundwaves could reflect properly off the light beams. Not to mention the treble control was turned up .0000000007 too high. In fact, the cab it was on wasn't properly balanced on the floor, and the postion of the 4x12 was an inch too close to the wall. Were clearly overlooking these important details and not worthy. ;)

That was my head from the level of stupid I achieved that day

I'm outside with Ralph and Mike and open the back of the truck and figured out after 120 miles and 2 hours of driving I forgot the fucking Cali and then almost blew up Mike's Meathead due to the sheared jack on the CAE

:hys: Haha dude i'm the same, always forgetting things or making silly mistakes without realising!

At the recent ampfest i had here at my place, the guys had tested my 50w Cali but then wanted to try my 100watt Cali after. I hooked it up and i got no sound. Tried a bunch of different cables, still no luck. Started to sweat big time thinking that it had blown up or had gotten damaged on the way home from my previous band practice that week.

Then i take the backpanel off to just double check and see if the tubes were lit up and it turns out i had forgot to even load the tubes back into the amp :hys:  DOH!

that looked like a lot of fun! One of these days I am going to go to one of these (wish we could get one out west). It would be intimidating to be in the room with such great guitar players.

Cool pics Scott!
