Favorite Amps of All Time

What is your favorite amp for each style you play?

Here's my list:

Fender Deluxe Reverb for cleans
Marshall 1987 for classic rock
Marshall 2204 for hard rock
Bogner Ecstasy Classic (or 101b) for hi-gain lead
Mesa Rectifier (early revision) for metal

Of course, there are many other amps that I really love for each style, but at this point in time, out of the dozens of amps I've had the pleasure of owning, these are my favorites.

Mass produced everyman amp for the unwashed masses : JCM 800.

Out of production, unclone-able amp made with the finest unobtanium : Mesa MKII C++

Entry level boutique amp available at finer music stores with valet parking : Bogner 20th Shiva

Boutique-ier and more expensive amp built by a guy with worldwide rockstar connecections : Wizard (take your pick)

Uber-ultra-super boutique amp made with NOS Area 51 parts and fine tweaked over 20 years with the best and most critical ears in the business (EUROS only please) : LARRY Dino 939 (actually any amp or product)

This list would be more convincing with Meryl Streep reading it in a lovely evening gown.

Of the ones I have owned:

Marshall 4-holer: the most versatile 6 knobs in the world. Great for nearly everything. 2061x for the mini-me version;
Fender Twin/Deluxe/Super/Princeton Reverb: for the EJ cleans or texas flood or strat-soaked-in-reverb tones;
Budda Twinmaster: for the most pure feel, like your strings are wired straight to the speaker. An angry little hornet when cranked.
Budda SD80: the Twinmaster's rebellious, pierced, teenage grandson; HUGE thick vintage gain tones.
Naylor: best master volume
CAA OD-100 Classic/Plus: best fully-featured Fender/Marshall channel switcher
