I'm currently torn between my beloved Savage 120 and the KSR ARES I recently acquired.

Fuck that is one mean and LOUD little 50 watter Savage wins for tightness and attack plugged straight in, but the ARES is mind blowingly brutal, tight, and articulate when clean boosted. Not that its flubby without a boost, its just like with most amps, you need a bit of volume to get the tightness and attack going. And the mids...... Greasy, grinding mids

I've recently discovered the crunch Ch on the ARES too, and its A LOT OF FUN!!!
