Favorite new production scooped(ish) speaker for metal?

I'm thinking about swapping out the H Creamback and V30 in my KSR 212V and am looking for opinions on what some of the best non-vintage speakers are on the market for avoiding honkiness when playing at home. Ideally that sound good at lower volumes like 85-90dB and don't fizz out. I have an aversion to the new production T75s since I've read too many times that they're really bad about this at lower volumes.

The cab is going to be used with a Synergy IICP + PS-2A. I mostly play old school death metal, sludge metal, and some cleaner indie/alt stuff, so I tend to gravitate towards more 80s/90s tones.

Some options I'm looking at:
  • Scumback BM75-LD
  • Celestion CL80
  • Celestion G12-65
  • Jensen Nighthawk
  • Jensen Electric Lightning
  • Keep H Creamback but swap out V30 with something else
Not sure if some of the above are really scooped at all, but as long as they have present highs and lows and avoid being honky or fizzy, that's mainly what I'm after. My speakers are also currently 8 ohm so switching to 16 ohm would probably be the move.

I love the Jensen Nighthawk for that. Has a scoop to it, but doesn’t sound thin or fizzy.

The G12-65 is my favorite with my iic+, it’s the least fizzy of any of the other celestions I have

What about old G12T-75s from the used market?

That is more of the sound I go for, and I mostly use T75s. They are a little fizzy, but they have that sound, and it is easily controlled by the presence.

I also like the Eminence Karnivore and Swamp Thang. Not really scooped, but not mid cranked like Celestions.

Do you all use these on their own or mixed with other speakers? I wonder if T75 with G12-65 would be a good combo, or Nighthawk with Electric Lightning (I've heard this Jensen combo in one of Kohle's videos and it seemed nice there)

They're pretty pricey and I'm afraid it would be a bit of a crap shoot but I could be wrong. Lots of choices to make regarding vented vs non-vented, avoiding ones from the 90s that people seem to dislike, etc

I used to have T75s mixed with V30s, but I took out the V30s for a few reasons. One is that V30s just annoy me with their nasal mid honk. Second, I find more and more that I prefer to have 4 of the same speaker in a cab. Whenever I mix speakers it seems like you just get too much "wall of sound" and you cant really EQ around it because you end up fighting against one speaker or the other. Having all of the same speaker seems more focused and punchy to me.
