I have the Don Juan Cornelius Phaser that Griff did. That's based on the Boss PH-1r, with an added volume knob. I dig it.
I'm actually about to sell off a bunch of phasers, because I have too much overlap. The MXR Phase 90 and the Whirlwind Orange Box are on the block because the Griffin Analog Phase 45/90 does all that and more. My Blackout Effectors Whetstone (Lucky #13) is rare enough that I might hang on to it, but the Big Stones nails it with more features and a lower noise floor. The keepers are on my boards, and I don't really want to have a pile.

My bases are covered. The meridian does killer analog flange and chorus and then some unknown kind soul here bought a big stones for me which I sat down and did some testing with the other day. Trusting in your extensive experience with phasers I am left to think I have one of the best phasers on the market now though Waynzo's Phase 45/90 looks absolutely awesome too.

In terms of one knob pedals, the Orange Squeezer is a key one for me. That and the phase 90 are the only 1-knob pedal I use actually. Although I have an Analogman clone (the Juicer) and wouldn't be buying another one.
It violates the one-knob premise, but an Orange Squeezer with a level knob and some modest ability to go above unity gain would be an extremely useful pedal IMO.

the Phase 45 /90 I'm doing currently is pretty special IMO .... because I can get and have NOS original transistors that are hand matched specifically for the pedal .... I pay up for them ... but it's worth it ... I can trust they are legit which is huge when buying NOS electronic components

That would certainly be something I didn't even think to ask if they could do my Victoriluxe in python. It's just boring old tweed, which confuses everyone because it's a blackface circuit.

It is a tweed (pine) cabinet though which puts it in kind of an interesting place. Definitely a little chiller than a typical blackface twin.Keeps those dirty laggers guessing.

Sounds like a sweet amp. My old twin has a pine cab but the baffle was chipboard trash. I heard a clunk one night tossing it in the rig. The JBL's had collapsed the center of the baffle at the narrow spot. It's got a mojotone pine baffle now and my other twin had the full mojotone pine cab when I got it. I still had to run a 1" wood strip across the top of both baffles because they were flexing and rubbing against the bottom of the amp chassis and creating noise in my recordings. I almost went nuts trying to figure out what the hell was going on, brought the amp to the tech like three times before I finally figured it out. Never mind a buzzy gotoh bridge on top of it.

Pine twins everywhere... honestly I've never seen another one in person, at least not that I know of.

No idea tbh. I suppose it could be a pine laminate or something but I never tore the tolex off to find out and it's held up well since 1969 so no reason to. The mojotone stuff is advertised as solid pine.

Yeah the Victoria cabs come from Mojotone. That's definitely pine.
I guess I just learned something - all the recent fender "blackface" amps had plywood and I just assumed the original ones did too, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Now I feel sort of silly. Apparently I've seen a lot more pine twins than I thought.

Yeah google says the original BF models were pine. The 69 is a silverface and still appears to be solid pine. I know in the mid 70's some twins had glued in baffles but I've never seen one.
