ok, if you are talking about the one at superior music in tenn, it is a dar forza, not a FBM-100. they got a good price on it though. $2.5k plus shipping, cheaper than the FBM is supposed to cost, and the forza is the "flagship" head. thank god i asked for a picture before i gave them my credit card info....yep, i almost bought it.

Nope i live in the States. I was in Australia when the Chopper movie came out, so it was all i heard about, but didn't go see it. Tried for a year or two to get a copy of the movie with no luck, finally picked up a copy in New Zealand.

Haven't heard of Bronson, will check it out.

Any one heard anything lately? I usually talk to mike every three weeks or so. But I've been emailing and calling for a week and havent heard back

i texted back and forth with mike this past weekend. wanted to know if i should buy the above mentioned forza. he told me to go for it, but would not elaborate about the future availability of the FBM.

so, i spent this past weekend selling some gear to score the above mentioned forza from Superior music in tennessee. i was told on friday it was $2500, and to call monday and speak with the owner, chuck.

so i call monday, and speak with chuck, and he confirms the amp is $2500. so i tell him to slap it on the credit card and ship it to me. things rapidly get weird....

first he says he doesnt wanna ship it. then he doesnt wanna pay the 3% credit card fee and wants me to send him a money order or back check. alert flags start going up right away. suddenly he says he has to get off the phone and will call me back.

and hour later i call back to try to close the deal, but chuck pawns me off again.

4 hours later, an assistant calls me to tell me the amp is now $3200. i say that he told me friday it was 2500, and chuck had told me that morning it was 2500, so why all of the sudden is it 3200? he says chuck told him to call me and say it was marked wrong. chuck didn't even have the balls to call me himself.

i wouldn't trust superior music for $hit.

might as well wait for an FBM.

The Forza is for sure a worthy amp to have in stable, but think the FBM is geared more towards what we're after.

Man, that's messed up. I may go down there tomorrow and see what's up. I've never made a major purchase there, and I never see Chuck in the store...ever. $2500.00 was the quote I mgot as well, but the guy had no idea what the price of the 2x12 was.

me too. though i want the FBM badly, i would have bought this forza to hold me over until the FBM became available. i probably would have bought it at 3200 at that pint if they had told me 3200 to begin with....mainly because i want one so badly. but at this point i am kinda soured. i know dallas is selling his, but....
