I originally went with a bridge wind similar to the Evolution, but I found it a bit on the bright side, so I ditched that and went with something in between an Evo and Juggernaut spec. Around 14k, mismatched coils with 43awg slightly under wound coil facing the bridge and 44awg slightly over wound coil facing the neck. I's got an unoriented A5 with ceramic flanking magnets, so basically the output of ceramic with more mids and a little lower resonant peak due to the ALNICO magnets inductance.

For the neck, I used mismatched coils of 44awg wire instead of 42awg, so while it comes in at 13.6k with a standard thickness ceramic magnet it's only slightly over wound @ 5750/5250 winds were a PAF wound be at least 5000 winds per bobbins. I love this neck, iif you like fat fluid neck lead tone, this it is, but the cleans and split are also fantastic.

The overwound bobbins are the coils that split with the middle pickup. So there's some nice quack from the mismatches.

The pink bobbins and green knobs improve to tone at least another 8-10%

Awesome! Love it, make a vid with the soldano or one of those amps so we can hear it.

That looks so great. I love RG’s with those colored pickups.

Looks GREAT !!!!

Looking forward to the clips next week to see the guitar in action, and to hear your pickup creations.

okay, the original set I tried where not to my liking. Trying other brands specs can be challenging. There's too many variables that people underestimate. So, it took me 3 tries and I ended back with the old tried and true spec. My Whiskey and P'AF set seem to play nice with just about any guitar. Here's a quick demo of all switching positions, clean and gain.
