SO a buddy wanted a new fuzz pedal so I set off making him a simpler version of his last one I built. The last one was Germanium PNP, so we decided an NPN version would be nice, since the transistors are way more common and generally more readily available. I ended up using OC77's for this build, but since it's NPN, there are many options available in Silicon.

First I designed the schematic and PCB and this was the result. Proabaly my neatest build so far. I'm really proud of the PCB layout.

My buddy wanted to design his own artwork, so he sent it over and I had my etcher do his thing...

I populated the board, drilled some holes and plopped it in.

And here are the OC77's.

All in all, I"m really happy with how it came out.

The controls are;

Input- mimics your guitars volume knob. This allows you to roll back the incoming signal to "clean it up"
Fuzz- Gain control
Tone- A simple tone stack.
Volume- Output Volume

Heres a clip of it through a Marshall JCM800 2204 into my Weber Blue Dog loaded Orange 4x12.

Really happy with how this thing turned out. Hope he digs it as much as I do!
