I find that cranking it up to gig or even higher volumes helps with that and the zoom hq3 can handle it.
Luckily I can crank my amps up to serious ear danger levels quite frequently

I made a couple recordings a week or so ago. Just posted a 2nd blades vid I did then.

Well, I solved your first problem by designing my amps so that they are balanced with the handle in the middle of the head case. It really isn't that hard to do so. I also put larger/higher rubber feet on my head cases so that the bottom of the case will clear any handle so you can stack heads without requiring you to remove them... Truthfully, it amazes me that designers don't solve issues like these unless you are making dead on clones of an older amp designed before people thought about things like this...Mailman1971":3j3xryso said:Not really keen on the cup holder. I think that clip sounds killer. I told Billy a few months ago on FB that he should do "traditional" cosmetics...loose the goofy font on the amp's front and those knobs too...go with something else...maybe we all got through to him...

The large rubber feet is a great idea.
My cobra was the worst for a handle. Like some giant spring wrapped In plastic.
That one had to come off.

sounds great! Where were the controls (especially the master) set for this demo? Also, how do you find the noise floor at that setting?

This was my old amp. I had it cranked volume. Probably 8 out of 10.
Pushing two 4x12s. It was dead quiet.
Can't say that about the camerons I owned.

You can't say anything bad about Blades builds now I'm sure. If I am not mistaken he has a very good tech/builder on board.

That amp sounds great. You have two guys with allot of experience saying it is so. For me there a little too pricey in light of resale or I would grab one.

I got both mine on trades. Sold the first to Jeff. Just wanted a 100 watter. Found one.....pulled the plug. Game over.
