Treble Nazi eh   Sounds way better than the clip you posted awhile back, treble is fine to me I dislike dark amps.

Agree, I also do not favor a dark tone.

Ya I tend to set up amps dark. Glad you like this one!

I am gonna just try and make a recording of what I normally dial in. If its thinner on video so be it!!

I find that cranking it up to gig or even higher volumes helps with that and the zoom hq3 can handle it.
Luckily I can crank my amps up to serious ear danger levels quite frequently

I made a couple recordings a week or so ago. Just posted a 2nd blades vid I did then.
Very low volumes.
Gotta get back into the recording phase again. Fun stuff!!

Not really keen on the cup holder. But that Offset handle makes carrying the amp so EASY!
Balances it out where a traditional handle the amp will sag to one side with the weight of the Transformer.
His handle balances it out perfectly.
Plus I always stack my amp heads. Some of the amps I had in the past I actually had to remove the handle since it jutted out so much on the top making the top amps unstable. His handle the amp top is perfectly flat.
Well, I solved your first problem by designing my amps so that they are balanced with the handle in the middle of the head case. It really isn't that hard to do so. I also put larger/higher rubber feet on my head cases so that the bottom of the case will clear any handle so you can stack heads without requiring you to remove them... Truthfully, it amazes me that designers don't solve issues like these unless you are making dead on clones of an older amp designed before people thought about things like this...

I think that clip sounds killer. I told Billy a few months ago on FB that he should do "traditional" cosmetics...loose the goofy font on the amp's front and those knobs too...go with something else...maybe we all got through to him...

That's awesome. Your absolutely right. Amps can be redesigned no need to stay with how it's "always been"
The large rubber feet is a great idea.
My cobra was the worst for a handle. Like some giant spring wrapped In plastic.
That one had to come off.

sounds great! Where were the controls (especially the master) set for this demo? Also, how do you find the noise floor at that setting?

All controls at 12 gain 1 and 2 at 1 o'clock. Master at 9 o'clock very low volume and noise floor is dead quiet!

This was my old amp. I had it cranked volume. Probably 8 out of 10.
Pushing two 4x12s. It was dead quiet.
Can't say that about the camerons I owned.

Thanks.

You can't say anything bad about Blades builds now I'm sure. If I am not mistaken he has a very good tech/builder on board.
Bygones be bygones. People can change.
That amp sounds great. You have two guys with allot of experience saying it is so. For me there a little too pricey in light of resale or I would grab one.

I got both mine on trades. Sold the first to Jeff. Just wanted a 100 watter. Found one.....pulled the plug. Game over. :D

Game over is you die with it. It's that good and I respect that

Are these Blades amps 1 channel? I guess that maximizes the tone but <shock> I think I need a clean option.
