I thought I'd share this for anyone who wants to check it out. Sorry if the visual is a little off target.

I used my Nash s63 for most of this, and Blackat HDA7 for a few spots, mix of Neural DSP and mark III mic'd with a 57.

My channel is primarily hiking videos, for a couple of years now I've wanted to get back into recording my own music to add to them, and I'm just now upgrading my setup so I can start doing that. I plan to add some guitar videos in the near future as well. For quite some time now, I've only really recorded what was necessary for whatever band or project I was involved with. I'm looking forward to getting back into doing it just for the enjoyment of exploring new ideas again.

Cool stuff man. My wife and I also love hiking, which is part of why we live where we do. We get all around the southern apps but I would love to be able to get out west for an extended time. I’ve been various places out there but never to hike.

Fucking awesome man, love the music and love the mountains!!!! I am a mountain nut also, but i can only enjoy them 3 weeks a year. And that is out west in the Rockies sledding in the winter. Used to hike also bit lost my partner for that.

Keep it up???

We're actually in upstate SC, and do quite a bit of local hikes in the Carolinas, GA, and TN. The past few years we've been fortunate enough to have the schedule flexibility to venture out west a few times throughout the summer.

We did our first winter trip to Colorado last Christmas, and I really loved it.

It's a whole new experience up in the mountains with all that snowpack. The only thing I couldn't get used to was it being dark 16 hours a day!
