First ding on new guitar…..it hurts ?

I only have three of them now and all three are brand new. Just waiting for the first ding on one of them. If you play live or rehearse regularly, you can't prevent it no matter how careful you are. Live music is always unpredictable and always 100% fun.

I just accept it and crack on.

Don’t get me wrong, my guitars get played, just sucks when that first doink happens. I do have OCD and my guitars are wiped down and fast fret applied before they go back in their cases. They live in their cases when not being used.

First time I put buckle rash on my shiny new 02 LP Classic made me sick.
You should see it now. All the relicd MOJO, earned thru years of playing.

Nowadays, I don't even notice when I do it. Don't care.

However, I was kind of surprised this morning when I found that I left the 4104 on, not on stdby, for the past 4 days.
WTF, how'd that happen? Sucker was kinda hot.

I have left an amp.on for days also. Only figured it.out when i turned out the lights, you could see the indicator light

The first is always the worst, so I try to get it out of the way early…. then I don’t have to worry about it anymore. And just think, people pay a lot extra these days for dings and dents!
