Hello, this is my first post but I have lingered on the site reading reviews etc for a long time. I just got my first amp and cab yesterday, and I am not 100% sure how to hook it up.

The amp head is the ENGL fireball 100 and the cab is a ENGL 212 pro. I am pretty sure I want to hook it up Mono, but I am not positive what output/input to use and if I only need one cable vs 2. The owners manual isn’t much help. I appreciate you guys helping out an idiot here so i can shred a bit this afternoon.

Mono will be the preference for home use right? I want both speakers just from one guitar.

Mono is always the preference. I have never gotten a good answer for stereo. And don't be embarrassed. We all didn't know before we knew. Just make sure you turn the master volume half way up and strike a power chord to shake the walls and feel in the balls

(make sure the impedance select is on 8 or looks like you have a bunch of output options, so put the cable in the third from left output on back of amp that says 1x8 ohm mono with the speaker above)

never turn it on without being hooked up to a cab dude.
