That's a substantial difference.
So the bar is still full floating? It's hard to believe that makes that big of a difference. It has nothing to do with that, but depending on your trem cavity rout it can be a by-product. I have an old Soloist where it did in fact rest against the back of the rout eliminating any pull-up.
