Yeah it's fuller and rounder-sound for sure. It's quite loud acoustically as well. Funny thing is, I didn't notice the difference until I actually recorded them and played them back to back.

Countersunk = a recession into the body by the back of the bridge so that the string lock screws can go into when you pull up on the bridge? Not familiar with that term... Maybe you can clarify a bit more so I can understand? Thanks for the help, Dave.

Either way, if the bridge is floating on top of the body, you need the taller 42mm. If it is sunk into the body you need the 32 mm. If you order the wrong one, it will be either too short and the springs will hit the back rout or too long and stick out the back. Usually original blocks have the mm length stamped on them.
