What's the website address? I tried FloydUpgrades and Floydroseupgrade dot com. Neither took me to the right place.

Yeah... I was pretty shocked at the difference when recorded. Without hearing them back to back, you can't tell.

Sure sounds like a lot more is going on than a volume increase. Easy enough to adjust the volume and listen. The upgrade has a fuller, more rounded sound. I liked it.

Yeah it's fuller and rounder-sound for sure. It's quite loud acoustically as well. Funny thing is, I didn't notice the difference until I actually recorded them and played them back to back.

Is it my imagination or are the lower mids (lower "weirds") a little more pronounced?

(I'm only putting this smiley in because I never use it and I wanted to test it out)

I hear a pretty big difference. Volume is obvious, but also even sounds more articulate as well! Definitely a good investment if you plan on keeping the guitar!

I don't know how I missed this. Man, the second one sounds warmer, more musical and BIGGER! I may have to get one an unlock my trems.

Need a quick bit of assistance, I'm trying to order up one of these today and but my guitar is at the practice space and I won't be there until the end of the week..

The guitar that I'm going to throw this into is a ESP M-II Maple Boarded (Bolt on). Has an OFR on it which is recessed. I need the 37mm block, right?

Is the Floyd countersunk into the body or not?

Countersunk = a recession into the body by the back of the bridge so that the string lock screws can go into when you pull up on the bridge? Not familiar with that term... Maybe you can clarify a bit more so I can understand? Thanks for the help, Dave.

I have brass blocks installed on both my Charvels with Floyds and even my main Fender Strat. A huge part of the brass block is the way the guitar FEELS when you play it. It does sound better, but it really reacts to your playing and picking better. The notes are more even like mentioned before, which also is felt when you're playing. The notes jump out more with less effort, with more bloom, and it's easier to really dig into it and get the tone out. It's definitely not just snake oil, and really makes a difference beyond the tone. I highly recommend them.

Maybe recessed is a better word? ;)

Either way, if the bridge is floating on top of the body, you need the taller 42mm. If it is sunk into the body you need the 32 mm. If you order the wrong one, it will be either too short and the springs will hit the back rout or too long and stick out the back. Usually original blocks have the mm length stamped on them.

Okay, cool. I will double check the guitar before ordering and measure it too. Thanks!

Really looking forward to trying this in my M-II. Going to do a pickup change as well.
