My orders from Adam were shipped USPS Priority mail.
There were no tracking numbers......
 
Even if there were no tracking numbers there should be customs numbers because its going to the UK.

you got a refund, plus the paypal charges, and shipping charges that the business ate for you. nothing in writing said they had to - but he did anyway because that was the decision of the company on behalf of your request. he shipped a block. he's a business - not a 3 posted ebay user. i would gladly take his word for it as others will as well.

yet, you continue to egg this on, and continue to defy his name on a forum because you are still not satisfied??!

Regardless of where you send some thing with the USPS you still get a receipt showing the zip code of where you are sending a package to..

Not saving it is asking for trouble and poor business management...

NOW - I have not gotten another private email from you with any info. I am doing this to just stop the madness. The net effect will be you getting a block and refund... Also tell me what size and style block you need. Be sure to spec the right block. If you need help with the install - I will be happy to do your install for you as well (also for free) during yor next trip to NY. SO - you get a free block, free install - the only thing left for me to do is to make you an endorser...

PS - Please stop insulting the posters who do not take your side. God forbid someone has their own thoughts...

Seriously though, how does the brass block sound compared to the Titanium? Its a BIG price jump and the brass already gives a very good improvement for the buck.

Well Adam, from the madness has risen the clear understanding that you are a really solid guy to deal with and that customer service is not an issue for those who deal with you. When I have some spare cash, I'll be ordering a Titanium block from you for sure.

I'm still curious about the tracking number or receipt or
to back up your claim of already sending TWO replacement blocks.

If you haven't actually sent those then you have lied to all of us.

If you have then Jazzer has lied to all of us.

Really easy way to clear up this entire dispute/debate about your customer service once and for all.

I think it was mentioned in a previous post that he ships via USPS, so for the sake of things going forward with this particular customer a UPS or FedEx, or USPS certified mail number and tracking would be the way to go imo to prevent further headache for either party. I'm not here to play judge or jury, because I wasn't there so I don't know, but proof would solve this instantly.

My 02. to FloydUpgrades

Experience talking here.... Get a cheap camera an take photos of everything you ship, takes 3 seconds.
Gives you a chance to visually inspect Everything that leaves the shop just in case somethings amiss AND/OR your customer has OCD issues and/or the block or whatever has a manufacuring flaw that might drive them nuts...
Helps your customers realize it left your shop in perfect condition and that way your customers can work out the potential 'damage' between themselves and the shipping company for damage incurred OUTSIDE your control/shipping dept.... :yes: (You'd be AMAZED how often the boxes of gear we ship look perfect but the product gets nailed in some way or another...)
The customer puts in a damage claim w/ the shipping company and then you dont have to eat it as often....Everybody wins...

The only problem with this is the shipper in the case of UPS will only talk to the person who shipped the item and not the person on the receiving end it's a real bitch and dicks everything up hard core... just an FYI a few people on here have had stories of this including my self.

Better yet, hire a local news crew to document the entire inspection of each block and the delivery process of each individual order you receive. Provide a DVD to the customer as well as keeping a back-up for your own personal records.

well, if you want REAL customer service you hand deliver each piece an give a nice reach-around upon arrival...

Not true Bro, Many times shits gotten beat in shipping and we pack gear to take a grenade blast around here. I've sent the customer my reciept and shipping info via fax and let the customer handle it on his end, works like a charm... :thumbsup: once you sign for it it's yours betwen you and the shipping co. and out of my hands... :yes:
