I used to have the same setup, with the older 2-space Velocity 300. Sounded fantastic. The high gain tones could easily keep up with many high-end tube heads.

Hi dawnofdreamx97, nice setup!. I love this combination how powerful and pro sounding is. I've got a few questions to you. I own an e530 and velocity 300 too, and i'm planning to acquire a portable rack case.
1) Does the SKB shallow X rack allow you to have all cables plugged (even e530 mains plug)? I thought it was too shallow.
2) I noticed you put the velocity 300 on the bottom, but this way you cancel its upper ventilation (where a fan is installed), had you noticed heat accumulation or it works flawlessly even at very high levels?
3) 110/220 voltage selector: does the e530 still use the internal original transformer or does it get it replaced by FJM? My unit works with 120V but currently i'm playing it on a 220V country, by using a step down converter, it would be way better to use the internal transformer rather than an ungrounded external step down...

best regards,
JJ

Yea it's really cool!

yes it does fit but it's snug and it works... I think i put the rocktron on the bottom so i could get access to the plugs if i remember correctly though. Never had any issues with it overheating and i play very loud with my band. It used the stock transformer, just needs to be rewired, jerry added a switch to, works killer.

Hope that helps!

The E530 is currently my "earphone rig" when I play at night
If I was to gig I would probably bring it along since I reckon no more than 10% of the audience gives a shit about tone
