I had some stuff go on with the "Splawn Police" and it ended up getting to Scott, the guy went out of his way to email me, and we talked about what went down, and he is a classy guy, and we are definetely cool now, as for the Forum......oh well, like any forum, there are always douchebags who are gonna ruin it for some, but Scotts o.k. by me.


Thats it, the end, dont ask what happened, it's over and I just wanted to publicly say that I was in the wrong for what I had in my sig. and Scott and I are cool. end of story.

There was a little more to it than just the "police", but that is something else entirely, so it did somewhat involve him.....

I just wanted to make it public that I was wrong, and Scott and I have talked and are cool now. I made it public in the first place, so it's only right that I admit my wrong doings publicly.

Eh... Not sure I've experienced that myself... Quite a few of them have other amps on the Splawn forum.
I've posted a fucking Revalver clip on there and no one said anything bad. They liked it... LOL!

They dont bother me at all, I find several rather amusing

Some of them can be a bit...intense in their appreciation of Splawn amps.

I remember that one thread that went on and on... But honestly, I don't remember what the hell it was even about anymore. All I can tell you is from my experience there's no "Splawn police". They're different than any other fans of any other gear IMO. Like I said, alot of them own various different amps.

Some of them are insanely overzealous and generally intolerant of comments that don't paint the amps in anything but a positive light. Aggressive in the worst possible way.

When I owned one I was actually embarassed to be associated with some of them, I think Scott Splawn is a very cool guy though despite some of the rabid fanboys.

Just imo.

Any Splawn fans that might respond to my post thinking it's them I'm specifically referring to, I'm not...just saying.

Thank god that got worked out. It was on the verge of getting really ugly and maybe disrupting most of the Eastern part of the United States. maybe.

Oh I think I know what you're talking about and dude... there was ALOT of shit flung in all different directions. It wasn't any different than any other shit-storm I've seen... I can't believe that folks are still bitter over what happend on an amp forum roughly 4 years ago.
