Fortin grind -> Diezel Dmoll. This pedal is sick

Wow even with the iPhone it sounds so clear.
Nice

For sure, it sounds perfect with the Diezel. I didn't expect to like it this much. I think it's application sounds really good with amps that have that huge "wall" element to them.

Never thought my VH4 took distortion pedals all that well.
Does the Dmoll take others as well as the Fortín Grind?

It's a frequency boost not a distortion pedal, it trims some bass before the eq. Tightens everything. Never used any distortion pedals. It does sound good with the Maxon 808 with zero drive. The fortin takes the cake though.

 thanks

I haven't really been digging any of the D-Moll clips until now. Damn! That Fortin Grind pedal makes it sound bad ass.

Does anyone know how that pedal will do with a Marshall/Friedman style amp? I love my amp, but I have always wanted a little tighter low end.

This will give you more than just a tight lowend, it gives quite a bit of modern attack and slice also, it brings the high end. I like it with the dmoll because I can dial the amp in really smooth and phat for leads, then hit it with the grind for my tight rhythm work.

While not a Friedman, I've run mine into my Cali and it sounded sick. The Cali can be dialed in plenty tight without it, so the trick is to dial in a wider, bassier tone before hitting it with the Grind. Then I can get a tight sound that cuts in a different spot than it does stock. My guess is it would work great for tightening up a Friedman BE since it's naturally darker with more low mid focus.

This totally took my dmoll where I wanted it to go,

Anyone know if the Randall Mor is basically the same pedal as the Grind?

Oh and try the grind at 12 volts! Sounds even better with more headeoom.

What adapter did you use for 12v?
