I think you're in a similar place.
You ought to try out a Splawn Cabinet with Big Blocks. I know you said you liked those Fatbottom cabinets you purchased recently, but I honestly think you're going to have a hard time loving them unless they're paired with a VHT head.

True.
I would love top try out a Splawn cab. I have heard nothing but great things about them. I actually played a KT88 Nitro through a Splawn cab a few years ago and remember that I dug it, but I don't remember what its particular sonic character was.
I've got all V30's in my Fatbottom cabs now and they totally kill.
