This is the problem these days. It's abundantly obvious when a recording has been digitally altered. Otherwise without all the smoke and mirrors it may be respectable.

Greg is really awesome with recording and given that this clip was given to him to re-amp/produce of course it's going to be recorded to the best of his ability in order to make the final product sound HUGE.....But..... and everyone I know has a big butt.. (pun intended!) :D

I don't claim to know what was done on the clip once it was mastered but:
I have heard clips and I have clips from Greg where they sound just as HUGE and all he did was multi track the guitars and the only processing was a low/high pass filter and that's it.

I can assure you that the NATAS sounds just as HUGE in the room as it does in those recording. It's a freaking beast of an amp and it's real easy to record. Besides , if anyone is looking for a more stripped down version of the amp there are camera recordings of the proto amp that sound killer IMHO.

That's very freakin' metal and Divinity are a great band, clearly the guitar player is a monster! \m/

I know da King is trollin but the fact is many do not understand re-amping and think the tone is solely with the player. Yes Greg does a very small low and high pass filter as I have seen him do it but that is it, what the listener is hearing is pure amp and how greg dialed it in.

Sick sick shit, feels like somebody hit me in the head with a sledge hammer.
Great control man.

Where is Sacha to take his ass patting and worship anyways?????

Simply amazing sounding....

You have ears of gold my friend....

You can't really do much to a recorded guitar tone before it falls apart and stops sounding like a guitar. Steady-state sounds, such as guitar, do not take processing well in general, and phase artifacts sound absolutely miserable from over-equalizing. All that was done post-processing wise was a HP/LP and a slight presence bump at 2kish. The tone is at the source, and the Natas provides the goods :)
