I found this interesting lil Les Paul Special today.
It’s made in Japan.
Has an open book headstock.
Has a traditional bell truss rod cover.
Has a Gibson style truss rod.
Dark rosewood board.
Bone nut.
Grover Deluxe tuners.
But it’s an Epiphone. 2000 build year if my calculations are correct. Built in the Fuji-Gen Plant.
Maybe a limited edition?
Obviously it’s a shame that the bridge pickup was routed out for a humbucker. But that’s the breaks.
Nice 50s neck carve! It has a USA Gibson p90 in it and a 57 Classic plus. Sounds AWESOME!! Plays incredibly good!!!!
