nice language how bout deleting this post for profanity batgirl!
How about you clock a few days and posts here before critiquing the long-timers on their diction.

We're free thinking around these parts. And with that comes a fair bit of language that men use.

Peace,
Mojo

PS - and ya, quite the necrobump indeed...what was the purpose of this???

It's manufactured by a small boutique company. There are many amps and guitars you can't buy from Sweetwater. It makes perfect sense that you wouldn't see it at Wal-Mart... I mean, Guitar Center.

Maybe a way to maximize profits and control who is demoing the unit. If it sat at Guitar center you'd be lucky if they knew how to turn it on. You can go to Tone Merchants and have a professional demonstration. (I use to do it all the time) Worth the trip if you can swing it.

Fractal had the best display/presentation at the LA Amp Show. I'm sure they do across the country at different shows as well.

Why oh why do some funny things in life never change?

This is from the Kemper forum.

http://kemper-amps.com/forum/index.php? ... eadID=6673

I sent a PM to the admin who administered my warning (again, not peterson) and asked what the difference was between my 'flame baiting' and what Cliff did, and if there was a difference, how I could keep from getting a warning again. You know, so my opinion wasn't stifled.

I was told that someone reported my post to the admins. Which leads me to believe one of two things:

1) All of the admins are going to let Cliff do what he wants. Entirely possible. Or...

2) There are some Fractal folk there that are huge butthurt pussies who can pitch but can't catch.

Probably a little 1 and a whole lot of 2. I would be curious however how fast a thread stating that the low tech fan in some modelling products is there as a crutch for poor heat management and the fact that their patches need to be changed with almost every major upgrade due to so called improvements is a horrible thing... do you guys really think a post like that would live very long, especially if someone kept feeding it?

Oh well, back to just watching. I like TGP overall, it's just amusing how personal gear preferences blind folks. I'll admit I have a Kemper bias, but if I saw CK behave the way Cliff does, I'd get pissed. Cliff's a talented guy and makes a good product, he just has the manners of a 3 year old who has been told he has to share his toys (market) with others. I was going to get an Axe II before the Kemper came out, decided not to because of Cliff's attitude and their weird 'lottery' system.

But this is even better.................https://www.thegearpage.net/board/showth ... ?t=1162789
There is an increasing resemblance with Monty Python best british humour developing here.

Well, it might make it more irritating if Reinhold Bogner went into a thread on tube amp transformers and went on about how Diezels had no punch and horrific ability to sit in a mix because of their smaller transformers.

I could care less if some guy likes his axe better than what I have - different strokes and all that. I've spent time with both, I prefer Kemper, some folk prefer Fractal. Whoop de do. I also prefer Anderson guitars, I don't give a shit if someone else likes his Suhr better, or fender, or caparison, or whatever. I know what I like and what works well for me.

Hell, I'm suspect to either camp because I still have half a dozen vintage/rare marshalls and other tube amps. I like to play em all.

I've just never seen a owner of a company be a jerk like Cliff. Then Peterson comes out and does this whole song and dance about how Cliff could have meant any modelling stuff, not just Kemper. And then say with a straight face how he is fair and impartial.

*shrugs*

I may buy an Axe FX II later on. Or a III. You'll be sure though I'll get one used, I don't want to give Cliff a dime.

Very eloquent, Mo; I agree completely. :D

In the spirit of "language men use"  - get off your high horse, you fucking pansy; if you can't take a small dose of profanity (without getting sand in your cooter), you're on the wrong site.

Sack up, "sir" :)

Just have to say that from reading all this i can only assume DADA and JHerculees1 went full retard.

My thoughts EXACTLY!! Rogue said this to me once and I agree.... the whole knee jerk defensive reactions that tend to come from a loud minority of the AxeFX users..... all that stupid bullshit flows from the top.
