I made some new clips with my framus dragon playing walk by Pantera.

Both were boosted by a custom overdrive pedal, and the settings were the same for both clips.

One clip used a custom orange cab impulse, and one was miced up with a mesa cab.

I will reveal which one was which, once there are 30 votes.

Vote for which one you liked better.
Enjoy!

A for sure! Dig it. Mind posting the settings? I have a Dragon myself. :D

No problem,
Gain 2:30
Presence 11:00
Volume 3:00
Bass 11:00
Mid 7:00
Treble 2:00

Master 9:00
Deep 9:00

A sounds like the impulse to me. It's darker and also has an odd throatiness in the mids. B sounds better IMO.

C'mon guys (and gals) more votes, I will reveal which is which at 15 votes, since there is not much interest in this thread.

I like the tone of B better but I'm hearing something odd. Double tracked right? Maybe they are not tight and I'm hearing a little lag type thing. The tone sounds nice though.

Since there aren't many votes, I'll just say which one was which.

A: Mesa recto 4x12 one SM57, Double tracked

B: Orange cab sim two SM57's Double tracked.
