fredamp Brown Eye + torpedo cab - Rebel Yell cover

Hi , To test the new Fredamp' s Brown Eye preamp i chose to play one of my favorite Rock song , Rebel yell from Billy idol .
I always loved the playing and the sound of Steve Stevens .
The preamp is based on the dirty channel of the Friedman BE100 , with 2 gain and 2 vol .
This preamp is amazing , i don't use any boost , just the preamp in the torpedo cab .
I hope you like it .

That sounds pretty sweet. Since my current financial situation rules out buying a full BE head, I should be able to at least swing one of these. Off to search out the cost of this thing.

no relation with friedman , it's a custom order for me , i wanted a be100 in a pedal , fredamp make me this preamp , the name will be differnet for next orders .

He might get in $hit for using the Friedman name on the pedal though but Dave is a pretty cool cat so he probably will see it as free advertising. He should capitalize on this market though, a preamp would be a great idea. The synergy (mts replacement line) should address this but this looks like it has more features. He really should think about something similar. Sounds good btw!

Didn't knock my socks off but have dug the other Fredamp clips. Those pedals are very expensive though. 3-400 Euros I think.

So much this. Should Friedman be saying "Based on the Jose mod" for all his amps?

Sounded pretty much like the BE I had. Not identical, but it's a preamp, not a clone. I'm sure a lot of people would be happy with this. I'd personally wait on Synergy to come around as it's probably a better solution. Who knows if that will really happen or not though.

I don't see the relevance in the "whiner marshall" posts? Marshall hasn't made anything like Dave's amps for years...and Jose isn't around either? So how would face be copying current market marshalls?

If the custom order would've been a Kameron CC-5 I guess I wouldn't mind as much cuz Cameron is no longer around. But Dave is.
