Friedman amp names

I would't give a fuck if it's called the hairy ball licker five thousand.. I'd just slap a sticker over the name and TURN IT UP! Me 'n' my band White Trash Heroes.. cummin soon to a bedroom near YOU!!

U got me. I don't really give a shit either. Just an observation. Opinions are still allowed in the us right? My favorite, being a hard rock metal was the Va-JJ. I'm just being silly now. :)
 
Actually, some of Dave's amps are being refered to as PT20 and BE100...etc. The new Pink Tacos don't even say "Pink Taco" on the back if I'm not mistaken. I feel he started with the original Brown Eye and had a certain name branding going, but Friedman quality and the tones the amps get are really what he's known for.
 
Undoubted some of the best tone available worldwide.
Had a few myself thru the years. :thumbsup:

Yeah I have a PT-20 and no place on the amp does it say pink taco. And so-what if it did. I cant imagine many GUITAR PLAYERS being offended honestly. I never got the impression most of us were that snooty or PC. :rock:
 
I think of these amps as classy, like a Bently. I'm not offended at all, I think it's funny, just not befitting.IMO. I don't advise Mercedes to come out with the new Pussy Wagon SUV either.
 
Yup.....I would plug into a old beer case named shit bag if it sounded great to me. :rock:

But if I had the $ to buy a Mercedes called the Pussy Wagon... I would! And drive it till the wheels fell off!
 
As was pointed out nowhere in the current branding and advertising does it say what BE, HBE, and PT stand for lol
 
I dig the names of the Friedman amps it show he's personality and he not scare to name them what he wants.

Plus there easy to remember ;-)
