There are tons of Marshall clones/mods from various amp builders, but that name always sticks out in my memory.

It is silly a nomenclature no doubt but for me it wouldn't matter the name of the thing, its the tone that matters here. I have more of a problem with the new retail price points on some of the Friedman stuff for what it is but it is excellent amplification.
