Friedman BE-100 Question about channel on/off state

Hey all,

quick question regarding channel switching on the amp:

if the amp is ON and the footswitch cable (or a plain guitar cable) is plugged in but without a footswitch connected on the other end, which channel is on? Clean or dirty?

My guess would be dirty by default. That's how most mods with added clean channel preamp work. So overdrive(dirty) would be engaged until footswitched to clean. That's how mine works... tho it's not a Friedman.

Yes dirty is the default.
