Great video!
I’ve owned the Dirty Shirley mini head and the Twin Sister head.
Don’t own anymore, but definitely a fan!

Thanks for sharing the video! It was cool to hear the Marshall Plexi 50 watt amp head that Dave owns and seeing the other cool amps/cabs/guitars sitting in his shop. Dave is also a treasure trove of gear knowledge and stories.

Cool! Owned 2 BE deluxe, a Phil X, a Jake E Lee signature head, a JJ 100w and 2 Jr's, 3 Small box's and still own a Small box as a back up to the far superior Wizard MC II Mk II 50w
Dave is awesome for sure! My vote is don't neuter the mids or compress them so much. The SB is the least compressed and most raw for sure :checkthisout:

@cragginshred77: That's an awesome Friedman amp collection. Do you still have those amps? Do you still have the 3rd Power Kitchen Sink 6Vel? I saw your amp demo of the Kitchen Sink 6VEL and I liked the sound & versatility of that amp.

Opps forgot to mention a V1 and V2 Pink taco. Only Freidmans I have kept is the Smallbox and the V2 PT which is pretty freaken cool!. Sold the Kitchen sink for the even more versatile Wizard MC II -at least on ch one. I am trying to save to work less hours and hopefully retire sooner than later so I can't keep everything :geek:

Dave is a great guy! Always like his amps and am always interested in what he comes out with.

Everytime I catch a podcast with Dave ..... I learn at least 3 or 4 new things about building amps and old Marshalls ....... the guy is a walking encyclopedia ..... and I love listening to him talk amps and the like !
Have to watch this when I get home .....

I'm admittedly not a fan of the 'dark and smooth' Friedman thing, mostly from his earlier amps...but every time I've reached out to him with any questions on anything Marshall, he's been super fast and helpful in responding.
Great guy.

Just saw the video and noticed Dave has my old H/H V800 power amp. Yep it's my old one as I am the one who put the OFF sticker by the switch and the little glass window is still leaning down. Also the little green sticker with 4493 matches my old invoice from when it was serviced by Stretch yrs ago. That thing weighed 70lbs and I shipped it to Cali not once but twice. It did sound good for the W/D/W thing but I opted for something alot lighter. That kinda made my day a little better for some reason. Thanks for posting that video RaceU4her.
