Nice!!!!!!!!

Congrats. You know she's gonna sound beyond amazing.

Very cool, looks so much like a vintage Marshall that has been modded - only we know Dave's work far surpasses the Marshall factory!

What's with the leaning transformer - hope the amp wasn't dropped en-route?

Even if the amp was secure in the box, the weight of the transformer could easily cause it to lean if the box was dropped. I would see if Dave is concerned about it. Otherwise, enjoy!

The reason the transformer is shifted is the supports are
thin. I've had it happen to 4-5 amps including my Marsha.
Just pull'er on out and bend it back in place. Gotta do a
downward bending motion deally till the arms flatten out.

Mine was the same way. Los like a recurring problem as I doubt they were all droped. I think it is these cheap ass Metro mounts. Dave needs to check into another brand of mount. They are paper thin.

Congrats... I have the #0041 and it is incredible.

What is the JBE mod for?

Congtrats  I can't wait to get my Marsha back... Sent it to Dave for some new mods.. One of them is the Simple Clean.. Glad to hear you are digging it : )

I guess if you have any questions in particular fell free to ask. I'll do my best to answer them.
Did that midget statue actually punch you? That's a great photo.

Awesome amp! I say your clips comparing the same tune with brown, hairy brown and C45.

I thought they sounded really good, but its not the type of music that I play.

Can someone with a Marsha record some Van Halen tunes or 80's hard rock... Guns N Roses for instance....

I would sure would like to hear a VH sound in a Marsha, and all the clips I hear are drenched with gain which is good too but not what Im looking for

Here just for you https://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=9625940 One take, Marsha set on BE, eq 12:00, gain 10:00, volume TV level 0.5 (real quite). I'm going to get my recording gear set up and I'll do something a little more polished.
Edit, sorry gain was at 4:00.

I thought it was a greenback 25watter loved the mids that sounded very good! loved it! can't wait for mine to arrive :D

OK, so I've finally had a chance to really dig into the amp and it's mods.

To tell you the truth, I find myself running it most of the time on the BE channel with all the mods off.

When I really want to kick it up a notch, I'll turn on the SAT and JBE mods.

I wish I could describe in words what I am hearing tone wise. All I know is that I am extremely pleased with the results I am getting... It does exactly what I need it to and then some.

I would highly recommend the simple clean right from the get go, just in case. I would also recommend running a Voodoo Labs GCX and GCP in the FX Loop and for channel switching. It adds so many options.

I guess if you have any questions in particular fell free to ask. I'll do my best to answer them.

I thought you couldn't switch channels on a Marsha without plugging into the other input???
