Well I think we will also do a video with different speakers so you guys can see that. We will also do different guitars etc. Hard to please everyone. Some people say my amps are bright some say dark. Some people have lost there top end of there hearing also. It's hard to be happy!!!

Don't let the haters getcha down Dave. You can't make everyone happy, but you're amps sound great and I'd kill for a BE-100. I'm only about $1K away!

As the owner of a Marsha, I can say that the amp is pretty much as bright or dark as you want it to be depending on how you dial it in. Even though it's voiced in Marshall territory, the eq controls are much more responsive and offer up quite a variety of possibilities. As for there being too much gain, there's a knob for that...turn it down and amazingly it has less gain! Imagine that!

Critiquing amps based on clips and making statements like "too gainy" and "too much low end" is pointless without having experienced it personally...don't let how somebody else dialed one in speak for the amps as a whole.

Haha. The concept of turning the gain down. Who would've thought?

This little thing sounds killer! Raw, organic tone all day long.

I find it difficult to tell if I am going to like a food or not from watching videos ... but it can give me a idea about what it might be like. Videos are cool but in no way replace actual experience.

Personally I would be more than happy with any of Dave's amps....

I feel the same way. I have a BE-100 and want to buy a Pink Taco, I just want to know what the waiting time will be before it ships.

That pink taco has....BALLS!!!!!

Loved the tone, man. Sounded great.

Awesome sounding amp and great price, though I'd gladly pay $300 - $400 more for a 50 watt power section.

Should have named it the "Dirty Sanchez" cause that's some SICK F'N TONE!!!

Sounds fuckin' badass to me and the price is friendly (the other clips I've seen sound sweet too).

VERY tempting!!

What a great sounding amp. Great idea IMO. Going to be alot more accessible for guys to get Friedman tone these days without breaking the bank.

It's the best sounding little EL-84 amp I've ever had the pleasure of playing. I own a BE-100 and would be just as happy using the "Pink Taco" for a club gig. The "Pink Taco" is loads of joy to play and a great price. I tried it at the NAMM Show with a "Rock n Roll Relic's" single hum Les Paul. Dam sweet guitar and amp

The "Angry Vagina"

Will there be an amp that falls somewhere between the Brown Eye and the Pink Taco? If so, what is it going to be called?

This Friedman Pink Taco Demo Video is great. I watch it and sound is really touching my heart. Thank you so much for posting here.

Here is the Pink Taco played through different speaker cabs..same amp settings. Recorded with an iPhone and Tascam iM2.
Same riff..NO I"M NOT TRYING TO COPY VH'S PLAYING OR TONE.

Every demo clip should be JUST like that. You have set the bar.

Excellent tone & playing. The 4x12 for me, no question.
I love V30s but the 8 ohm in the 1x12 sounded a bit woofy. I am surprised; I preferred
the Greenback out of the 1x12s, but the Lynchback sounded really good, too.

Thanks for the great demo!

Careful Gents... I could be worse. Much worse:

Thanks for the 2nd video!!

I liked the Lynchback best, followed closely by the Greenback. Didn't care for the V30s.
