As said above, these days it really doesn't matter where it's made. Quality from overseas manufacturing has increased greatly recently.
I couldn't agree more.
In a lot of cases, made in China is overtaking made in America in quality.
That made in American strat that people are paying premium dollars for is mostly parts from overseas & assembled in the USA & the customer pays more simply because it says made in USA on the headstock.
Now a days, if it sounds good to you, then it makes no difference where it's made. However, I hate when people charge premium USA prices for products that are mostly Chinese.
Friedman and the guy who builds his amp came here and said 100% of the Friedman products are all made in America. Nothing is made or assembled in China (or anywhere else) except for a simple footswitch. This is why they charge the prices they do for their amps and pedals. If the were using partially built or partially assembled amps from China, clearly they would lower their prices and not take advantage of the musicians they are selling to.
Maybe they can come here and reclairfy what they said once before?
With regards to the first clip, it sounded too generic and the bottom end was flubby. Just my .02. I heard better amps of theirs.
