Hi guys.... was hoping someone could help me on how to remove the p50e out of the Fryette 412 fatbottom ?
I removed the side handles, remove front grill unscrew the hex screws... i tried to push the speakers out from the back by reaching into the FB412 via the handle cavity but no yield... its so stiff and hard to remove these p50e... i did a closer look and found there is some kind of "sticky seal" applied at the front where the speaker seats onto the front baffle...
Do i have to carefully knife open the "sticky seal" so i can pop out these speakers easier?
What happens is do i have to apply these "seal" again when getting new speakers in? If yes where can i get them ? Do they come together with the speakers cone when ordered?
Thanks and am looking forward to any kind users in this forum who has experience change their 412FB cabinet...
