Actually the listing is mine ahha not sure if I want to let this baby go thoI literally just watched that exact video that was attached to a Reverb listing.
thx - direct meaning ?Miced?Chunky - would like to hear a bit more direct sound.
Thx man - yeah this amp/ cab combo is freaking epic! Really articulate -in your face with tons of tight low endSounds awesome dude!

The truth is that I have the option to buy the 120 version with the loop from my buddy at a really good price! But yeah its a dream amp !I was surprised when I saw your listing...seems to fit your style well. Such good amps...the cabs are great too. Nothing really does what the D60 does in terms of the grit and articulation of the gain structure IMHO.
Not necessarily - I'm assuming you're using a phone mic, to keep it from taking a direct hit, just somewhere slightly off to the side. This video has a lot reflection (room reverberation) to my ears so by direct I mean more straight off the cab, regardless of the mic/phone. Make sense?thx - direct meaning ?Miced?
Unless you've experienced the 120, I'd be hesitant. It's a great amp but in my opinion has some different qualities than the 60 (I preferred the 60 for sure). The truth is that I have the option to buy the 120 version with the loop from my buddy at a really good price! But yeah its a dream amp !
Gotcha! 9/10 I use my suhr reactive load with some custom made IRs and I love the results. I also like the room reflection when captured with my s9 - which has a great video sound by the way! -Not necessarily - I'm assuming you're using a phone mic, to keep it from taking a direct hit, just somewhere slightly off to the side. I haven't been able to A B them but I will sure do before I make up my mind! Thx for the heads upUnless you've experienced the 120, I'd be hesitant. It's a great amp but in my opinion has some different qualities than the 60 (I preferred the 60 for sure).
Interesting, was that a direct sound? If it was, dial back the room and/or change the mic positions in the mic modeler if possible.Gotcha! 9/10 I use my suhr reactive load with some custom made IRs and I love the results. Cool to hear that!60 out does the 120 from my experience. Just got my hands on a vht era that just sounds insane. The 120 is missing something I can't put my finger on.
