That's the Fryette LXII - 1u rackmount 40w stereo/80 watt mono bridgeable 6L6 power amp.
It's not really a secret but those are the first images I've seen.

I remember the fuzz about the Egnater 1u Poweramp three years ago

Ok so here is the blueprint for right now!

Single rack spaced stereo and bridged mono. 30 watts a side 60 mono. Loaded with 2 pair of 5881's, presence, density, High low power switch and standy on each channel, so if one side goes down you can still use the other. Will accommodate 5881, 34's and 6v6. No 6550, or KT's. When in mono you can use dissimilar tubes so you can load the amp with a pair of 5881's and a pair of 34's like a tube mix knob, without the knob. Thats it. No room for anything else.

Proto typing beginning this month! As you all know delivery will depend on Bruce blessing it and that is a difficult task to do! I am really behind this for M4 and of course the long overdue E2. Sit tight and I will keep everyone informed when they will be in production and when we will be taking orders.

You can use the E2 with this new power amp for sure man. That's the point...use the E2 / 1U power amp
...that's 2u's of space...damn small and flexibile rig!! You could also use a E2 / M4 / 1u power amp. That's
4u's of REALLY DAMN flexible rig!

A new E2 Modular AND a new 1U power amp, MAN that will be really COOL!

I am all for small and portability, as long as the sound is there too, sounds great Jeff. do you know perchance a general price point?

I assume, today none really cares about a 1 Rackspace Poweramp

I guess that guess is as good as any .... but I doubt that.
If you read the post under the photo's on the Facebook link I posted Fryette clearly states the photos are not the LXII. It is a new prototype they just started. The LXII is done....
My guess is it is going to be a ~ mini Deliverance rack-mount type thing. That would mean a WDW system if used with the LXII or one of the other poweramps...

I have only used rack fx so im a noob, but I have a question...Lets say we have a fryette power amp for example and a preamp design rack mount based off their pitbull or D or any amp at that.

wouldnt it sound exactly the same as buying the amp head that it was based from (given the power amp was the same as well)?

Holy shit sign me up... can't believe with the craze of the Axe-FX and Kemper that it's taken so long for something like this to be developed... if anyone from Fryette is reading this stuff, you guys seriously have a gold mine on your hands... I know at LEAST 5 or 6 people not including myself who would buy one of these right now...
