Man this is so cool. My Poundcake is awesome on its own but thru this...I have heard the breakdown tone when Dave sees the heat comin off the road in Panama! The loop is awesome with my DL 6. As everyone has said get one

Thinking on it to run my Axe thru. Gotta get thru Xmas first and I'll have a list of stuff I need to nab. Thanks for the review.

It's as good as crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you and hearing the lamentation of their women...

Love mine with my Kemper but still have not tried it as an attenuator.

Isn't it cool to find gear that you just love? Relieving to find your tone. Mark 2C+ slaved to a Strategy 400....eargasm. At some point I'll nab a modeler of some kind and run it through the Strategy..... Congrats on the Fryette!

Funny. I have considered one for my Axe also. Just not sure about it being mono. That is a limitation compared to others. I like that I could use it with my Recto though.

Damn this thing is great! All tones are flat out smokin!

Just had one delivered.... one of the power tubes came out of its socket. Anyone know how to open this thing up? I unscrewed the two screws near the tubes, wasn't enough. Do I have to fully unscrew everything to get in?

You have to unscrew many screws. Take out every screw attached to the top half of the black case. Those are on the sides, on top, and two on the bottom where it wraps around under at the rear.

Yup, I've gotten every screw out....... except for two which are hideously stripped.

Going to try the rubberband method later today... hope that works. Very annoying.

Did it come new from Fryette with stripped screws and a power tube fallen out? If so, that is frustrating/disappointing! Should be an easy fix though once those screws come out. Good luck!

how is the silent recording output?
It's very good! No need to have it powered on. Just connect the amp to the input and use the line-out for silent recording. Of course, impulses are needed on the DAW since the Power Station doesn't do that part. But the load is very good. I set the switches to Edge/Deep to get the closest response to a real cabinet. It comes out a bit brighter than a cabinet's curve if you measure it, but that can be handled by reducing the treble or presence on your amp a bit.

I'm the second owner of it. The original owner bought it recently, used it once, and sold it (no idea why, didn't ask - I just jumped on the deal since it was a sweet price). They have 100% feedback and have been very communicative, they claim they never opened it - who knows how the screws got stripped. Anyway, the rubberband method didn't work - probably going to just have to [carefully] drill into them to get them out. Very annoying.
