I am super interested in checking one of these out. Has anyone tried it out yet or own it? I had a torpedo live and I loved the but I sold it because I knew the reactive load technology had advanced. I am just unsure of analogue cab sims because I have never tried them. I love the form factor and the fact that I just had knobs instead of screens and ir's. The price is super competitive. It's like the suhr reactive load and the ace had a baby which is what I have always wanted.

I have a Suhr RL and the Fryette PL will be at my home mid october (I live in Italy). I am corious as well and will try to post my thoughts as soon as I will try it.

Ive had mine for a week and REALLY like it, sounds and feels really good. The beauty of it is the flexibility, I personally like the analog sim but you can turn it off and run ir's if you want from the line out. Headphone jack sounds great (though I just picked up a focusrite Clarett and am using the headphone out from that now) Im glad I waited it out for this instead of going for the Suhr, just so much more packed into the unit and its Fryette so you know its built like a tank

And how it is now with the Clarett

Very curious on the Powerload too.

@lessthan12 Did you make any clips yet? ;)

Also has anyone know anything or even heard of Universal Audio's equivalent of the Powerload called the OX? "Universal Audio OX Reactive Amp Attenuator with Speaker Modeling" for $1299 :scared:

Dave Wiener made a video with the power load and posted it on his facebook page awhile back. Sounded pretty good. The Ox is supposedly great, too. Dave Friedman was raving about it on tone talk.

Have you used traditional ir's with a reactive load? How does the fryette unit stand up?

I think the Ox is more akin to the Two Notes Live/Studio. I'd be interested in comparing it to my Two Notes Studio.

That does look awesome I just don't need along of the features.
