Fuck... Floyd Rose problem... how to fix?

So, one of the screws on my locking nut seems to have the threads stripped so it just constantly spins in the hole and never tightens down the clamp. This sucks. How do I fix it?

On a side note... I've determined Floyed Roses to be THE BIGGEST PAIN IN THE ASS. I'll never buy another FR equipped guitar. Fuck I don't even hardly ever use the damn bar.

Take the nut off, and look at the markings on the bottom. It should either say R1, R2 or R3. This is the nut width. Replace with the same width, and you're good to go.

Yeah Stewmac or All Parts will have them....like was said remove it and flip it over...if its a real Floyd nut it will have the R1 etc....that will tell you what to get. Otherwise measure the nut width and go with the R that matches up to that size.

Nah tuning just takes forever (compared to hard tail), and all the cheap ass screws strip way too easily. Not to mention the risk of breaking a string at a gig COMPLETELY fucks up the tuning, and not to mention when you bend a string, the others go out of tune if you're trying to play something like that.

No thanks. Especially not worth it for something I barely ever use.
