holding the wire to strip it, I'm always concerned I'll break it! The control cavity is narrow too, with wires not clearly routed; one I don't need to touch is wrapped around the main wire connected to the volume pot... not something I've done in at least 20 years, and my eyes and hands don't work like they did 20 years ago; I'm feeling it:

I have one of those wirestrippers that holds the wire and strips it in one squeeze. I dunno what it's called, but lifesaver and makes everything else seem like a waste of money/time. Looks a lot like this one.

Not really, I mostly just go to the multistory bookstore if I'm going for a reason other than a show It's much worse per capita here in Oly over Portland when it comes to the crazies. Portland is just an easy name drop for the masses to understand my point. I would shop Portland by myself in the day time. I wouldn't stop in Tacoma. It's more of an i-5 thing. Everwhere has it's charm and issues.

Roughly twenty years ago I thought I was going to relocate to Portland. Have some friends there.
