FUUUU... traffic citation $221!!

Except my last ticket was from a Red Light camera. I was in the far right turn lane, one of 2, stopped turned. Got an $800 ticket anyway.

Probably why I don't get invited to AIC and Muse.

Folks folks folks, don't panic about those little speeding tickets. In Finland the all-time high speeding ticket was around $100.000 because it's set according to your income.

That's an intersting way to determine the penalty for a violation. I can see both up and downsides of the methodology, but interesting nonetheless.

There is a few states in the U.S. interested in doing something like this..

I hate writing tickets with a passion

I always had a hard time punitivley punishing a good honest tax payer for a minor traffic violation that will cost them around 200 to 400 in court costs, not to mention that they have to take a day off work to go to court, not to mention that their insurance will now go up. when all is said and done, that minor traffic gviolation will cost someone several thousand dollars. Now when I did write someone a ticket, I would tell them that i hate writing tickets. I would then then explain to them that if Im giving you a ticket that means your driving like a complete idiot and about to kill someone and your getting what you deserve.

wish more cops had your mentality, instead of wasting time.

i was crusing down a very wide road, 5 lanes wide. my arm resting on the window. minding my own business. driving 50 in a 45, and a state trooper passes by me, cuts a complete 180*, blares the sirens and pulls me over.

when they ask if you know wtf you have done i honestly didnt have a clue. i was speachless.

come to find out he pulled me over to issue a seatbelt ticket. $250.

i have to ask how the hell he spotted me without a seatbelt across 4 lanes of traffic and traveling in the opposite direction?!

another example is i was sitting in my neighborhood a few years back. just pulled out and waiting on traffic to clear. was pulling a CD out of my radio and a cop goes by. STOPS in the middle of the road. punches it in reverse and puts his lights on and pulls in right behind me.

he questioned me for everything. license, glasses, inspection, tag, registration. everything. and the ONLY thing he could get on my was my seatbelt. this was way before the one i just mentioned a second ago.

he said "you do know the reason i pulled you over was because of your seatbelt."

i wanted to say what dumbass is looking out their side window when their car is going in a completely different direction.

guy just wanted to piss all over my day.

i hate cops

if that doesnt spell douche, i dunno what does. and thats 99 percent of the cops that are in this area of NC.

i havent had a ticket in many years. of course right now im sure if i got pulled over, a cop could think or find something to bitch about and issue a ticket that would force me to sell all my music gear.

Hate getting tickets. I study long long hours on projects and usually end up driving to school at 10 at night and come back home like 6am in the morning. Sometimes at night I'm not very careful and the other day I ran a red light. This long street had about 10-15 flashing red lights. I completely stopped on every single one of them. I came to this last one and there was a cop car on the opposite direction he stopped at the red light as i did. I don't know how but I guess I was brain dead at 3am and after stopping at the red I treated it like a flashing red light and drove passed it. The cop must've thought I was drunk or something. He quickly did a U-turn and it struck me then...

I did admit I wasn't being careful but I mentioned to him that it was flashing red lights all the way and I was tired as fuck and I wouldn't pass if there were cars passing the cross section (it was completely empty for miles) but he still wrote me the ticket...

All my 10-15mph over tickets are around school and at weird morning hours when I'm tired as hell and not very careful. hate my sleep schedule
